Seeking support takes a profound amount of vulnerability, especially when you are used to managing everything on your own. Whether you are an athlete looking to break through a performance plateau, a professional navigating severe burnout, or an individual managing the heavy burden of a chronic medical condition, I am glad you are here.
My core belief is simple: Therapy isn't about "fixing" who you are—it's about helping you better understand yourself and create the life you want to live.
My clinical philosophy is deeply shaped by my own background as a competitive athlete, currently representing the USA as a team member in Kettlebell Sport for the IKMF. I know firsthand the intensity of the "go-mode" mentality—the drive to push through pain, the pressure to perform on command, and the frustration when the body doesn't seem to cooperate with the mind’s ambitions.
I understand that in the world of high performance, vulnerability can feel like a liability. But I have learned, both personally and professionally, that the most sustainable strength comes not from suppressing our humanity, but from integrating it. My athletic journey taught me the power of nervous system regulation—understanding that if your internal "biology" isn't balanced, your external "performance" will always have a ceiling. I bring this lived experience into my practice, helping you bridge the gap between being an elite performer and being a whole, thriving person.
The human body is an incredible landscape of adaptation. Many of the struggles we carry—such as persistent anxiety, chronic physical tension, or getting stuck in repeating emotional loops—are not signs that something is inherently "broken" within us. Instead, they are smart, protective adaptations that our biology and nervous system developed in response to stress.
My Perspective on Resilience I believe that true resilience is not about "toughing it out" or simply bouncing back to who you were before a difficult experience. To me, resilience is an active, dynamic process of integration. It is the capacity to hold the fullness of your history—including the painful parts—without being defined or diminished by it. I see resilience as your system’s innate, biological drive toward wholeness; my role is simply to help clear the obstacles that prevent that drive from naturally unfolding.
While I treat a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, I bring deep clinical training and specialized experience to the following core areas:
Trauma & PTSD Resolution: Helping individuals safely process past adverse experiences, relational wounds, or sudden life disruptions.
Chronic Illness & Somatic Stress: Supporting individuals navigating the grief, anxiety, and daily cognitive load that accompanies chronic pain, medical diagnoses, and illness.
Sports & Peak Performance: Partnering with athletes to process performance blocks, sports-related trauma, or physical injuries to anchor unshakable confidence.
I draw heavily from evidence-based, mind-body approaches to ensure your treatment plan is tailored to your unique biology:
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): To reprocess distressing memory networks, allowing your nervous system to fully integrate past events.
HeartMath® Modality: As a HeartMath Certified Trauma-Sensitive Practitioner, I utilize this evidence-based approach to help you develop physiological coherence. By learning to self-regulate your heart-rhythm patterns, you can effectively reduce the impact of stress, stabilize your emotional state, and build genuine somatic resilience.
EMDR Intensives: Offered in concentrated blocks to accelerate trauma resolution and performance breakthroughs without the weekly interruptions of standard therapy.
CBT & DBT: Providing practical, foundational tools for cognitive restructuring, emotional regulation, and mindful distress tolerance.
You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to act as an active, compassionate partner on your journey.
